I seem to have volunteered (really -- we were standing in a virtual row and everyone else took one step backwards) to be world agent for a group purchase of rec.boats caps. A local shop is able to do a nice job of embroidering the rec.boats burgee on the front with "rec.boats" in lower-case typewriter font beneath. They have the usual plastic knob-and-hole adjustable band in the back. Adding up the cost of the caps, and envelope and postage, it works out to $15 per cap.
After many years of yoeman service to the rec.boats community,
Walt Bilofsky has asked me to take over the burgees. No problem, Walt,
and thanks for all your efforts. I'll keep providing them
the same as Walt at a cost that will just about break even.
So... $15.00 will get you a burgee.
