Smokeless

So far so good.

Well, it is the day after my 60th birthday. I sort of quit about 5 days ago. By that, I mean I started taking Wellbutrin and wearing a 21 mg patch. I still cheat (half cigarette in a holder) several times per day, but it seems to me that I can resist these cheats for longer and that there are fewer each day. I've been sitting here at the computer for nearly an hour, planning to cheat as soon as I'm done reading my e-mail, reading my newsgroups, answering e-mail that came in while I was reading newsgroups, and now updating the Quitting Pages. I don't understand why I can put it off for an hour, but can't quite put it off for ever. Maybe tomorrow or the next day I will put it off for 4 hours or 5, and maybe the day after I will be able to put it off for a whole day.

I'll let you know.
